No church as usual here, for we believe in letting the Holy Ghost have its way. Come expecting to have a personal encounter with God, as He meets you at the point of your need. We believe God inhabits the praises of His people, and in His presence there is fullness of joy. Bishop Dr. Joseph B. Hunter & Executive Lady Cynthia D. Hunter
Bishop Dr. Joseph B. Hunter and Evangelist Cynthia D. Hunter have been pastoring Holy Temple Worship Center for 40 years. They are a true man and woman of God who walk by faith and not by sight. Bishop and Lady Hunter lead by example and show forth extraordinary care and compassion to every member. They are dedicated to the work of the kingdom and they tirelessly serve the people of God. We are so grateful to have holy leaders who stand on the word of God and live what they preach. Their lives are great models for us all. Bishop and Evangelist Hunter pour into us knowledge and wisdom, and so many ministries have been birthed as a result.
Many triumphs have been accomplished under their leadership. Holy Temple Worship Center made history as being the first church in our organization to be built from the ground up. Our new sanctuary was dedicated in 1993. In 2008, Bishop Hunter was named the Chairman of the Board, and in 2012 he became the Presiding Prelate of the Church of Christ Upon The Rock of the Apostolic Faith, Intl Inc. Executive Lady Cynthia Hunter has been faithfully serving alongside her husband from the beginning. She has a powerful women's ministry which brings life-changing emotional healing and deliverance. In 2015, once again history was made as Bishop Hunter spearheaded the completion of our new organization headquarters in Georgia.
Bishop and Evangelist Hunter just celebrated 50 years of marriage. They have three children and four grandchildren, who all currently serve in the ministry along with them. Their ministry is a blessing to the masses, and we are overjoyed to have these jewels as our leaders here in the HTWC!!
